I just did restore a deck today and pictured are the results. In the place where any rug/furniture were the stain didn’t come up as well. Should I be worried about putting stain (dark oak 1500) down and having equally bad lines with the new stain?
It would be best to strip and brighten at this point so the stain goes on evenly.
Do I need to do the whole deck again or just the areas still heavy?
Any particular reason why they cleaner/brightener didn’t take up more of the twp 1500 rustic stain?
Natural weathering. If it was covered then it does not weather the same way making it harder to remove. Best to strip off all and then brighten all.
Applied first coat of stain but ran out of time and could put second coat on. Can I put it on the next day?
No, you cannot apply a second coat once the first coat has dried/cured. Best to leave as is. You can lightly clean and reapply another coat in the Spring.

is there a post staining pictures? the one below seems to show post prep, but not post staining.
Will this work well on composit decking?
The RAD Wood Deck Stain is not for composite wood.
