Restore-A-Deck's brightener is also available as a stand alone product. This brightener is not a cleaner. It will not remove grayed wood fibers. It is meant to serve as a wood brightener and pH balance after using a cleaner. We strongly recommend it as the second part of our R-A-D restoration system. It will pH balance and brighten new wood and remove some contaminants.
This mild blend is safer for use than the straight oxallic acid sold in most home centers and hardware stores.
This brightener is also excellent for rust removal on concrete. With enough dwell time, concrete will look much newer. (Brightens only, will not remove oil stains from concrete)
